Hi, I'm Shiyao

I'm a third-year Mechatronic Engineering (Honours) student at the University of Sydney and a Dalyell Scholar. I finished school with a 97.40 ATAR — Maths Extension 2 and Extension 1, Legal Studies, English Advanced — and I've spent the last year and a half tutoring, helping more than 20 students find their footing.

I tutor from my home in Glenmore Park, or I can come to you or meet at Penrith Library. Your first session is a trial, with nothing to commit to afterwards.

Physics and Engineering Studies offered as conceptual and problem-solving support — useful for students weighing up engineering at university.

In Mandarin, if that helps

I'm fluent in Mandarin and can explain Australian curriculum concepts in a student's first language.

Sessions at my home in Glenmore Park are charged at the rate above. If I travel to you, there's a small flat fee per session depending on the drive — send me your suburb and I'll tell you exactly what it is.
